Naifeh began her professional stage career when she was 15 with the San Francisco Opera production of Carmen, with Placido Domingo as Don Jose. Stefanie combines her opera and circus background as Ring Mistress for the L.A. Circus where she also performs on the trapeze, web, and aerial silk. Stefanie has been a featured circus soloist in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America with
Circo Osorio, Circo Hermanos Caballeros, Fern Street Circus, L.A. Circus, and
Circo del Aire.
Stefanie has performed as aerialist and acrobat in films and commercials including
Rush Hour 2, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Drew Carey Show, The Reluctant Muse, and can be heard singing and seen flying through the air of the Afterlife in What Dreams May Come. Her voice can be heard singing the beautiful melodies and eerie vocalizations of the soundtracks and commercials of
Danny Elfman, Rolfe Kent, David Newman, and
Cliff Martinez.
Stefanie is director of her own cutting edge
Circus Sirius, whose original productions of Reverie and Suspension garnered raves review and packed audiences at L.A.'s El Rey Theater, and in Vancouver, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
Stefanie fronted the L.A. neo-cabaret band, The Underthings, whose self-titled album release received substantial radio play nationally as well as in France and Canada (reviews available on request).
